THE FASTEST ART WALK IN EL PASO?
15 SECONDS FROM
GALLERY TO GALLERY!
But the timing isn’t really important on Saturday, April 17, 2010, when the Encaustic International Art Studio & Gallery welcomes Sasahara Gallery to the park-like setting at 7100 Westwind on El Paso’s west side!
Sasahara owners Linda and Ernie Noack have scheduled their grand opening to coincide with the city-wide Artists Studio Tour. Sasahara will feature the works of numerous El Paso artists in various media. To welcome the new neighbors, Encaustic Art Gallery owners Brigitte von Ahn and Gary Warner will extend their gallery’s usual Saturday hours that day to welcome visitors from 11 AM to 8 PM.
Art lovers can literally walk from gallery door to gallery door in about 15 seconds! And to maximize your MPG even more, there’s always plenty of free and convenient parking at 7100 Westwind, where you can also enjoy a break at a bench on the grass and under a tree in the green, open-air central area of the complex.
Also on April 17th, the Encaustic Art Gallery will have local master framer Claire Lewis on hand from 5-8 PM to answer any questions you might have about framing and matting artwork, prints, documents or photos!
Both galleries (Suites 120 and 135) look forward to hosting you on Saturday, April 17, 2010, at 7100 Westwind!
Encaustic is the art of painting with pigmented bee’s wax.
